A few Random Photos

The nightly fountain/light show at the Buen Pastor Cultural Center. This was the night we ran into Dario from the boys institute.
Maciek, originally from Poland, helped us through the 2+ hour process of retrieving a package from the post office. We passed most of the time listening to stories about the communist black market, Polish food, the differences and similarities between Cordoba, Buenos Aires, and London, and the hotel business. We hope to visit him soon at the bed-and-breakfast that he runs a few towns over.
On our day off, our friend, Donny, took us to see several of Cordoba's art museums.

A shot of the Iglesia del Sagrado Corazon de la Orden de los Padres Capuchinos de Cordoba Argentina.
An alternative to the traditional mate, mate de pomelo (grapefruit).
Part of our time here is spent working on the OM house - cooking, cleaning, organizing, mowing, etc. When we first got here, the staircase to our room was missing half its bolts -- not anymore.
We've recently discovered the delicious chicken and empanada place just down the street. $5.50 gets you a dozen delicious empanadas -- baked or fried, sweet or savory, common or Arabic. Even on a missionary's budget, we eat well. The grapefruit above, 25¢. A giant waffle cone with two scoops of premium ice cream, $1.15.
